Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC – R510397). Founder of LSF Immigration Consulting Inc. Over 18 years of experience.
Linda Salas is a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) with more than 18 years of experience in the Canadian immigration field. Her career has been dedicated to assisting individuals and families through processes such as refugee claims, study permits, work permits, appeals, permanent residency, as well as complex cases involving inadmissibility and humanitarian grounds.
Originally from Mexico, Linda arrived in Canada in 2006 on a scholarship awarded by the Mexican government in recognition of her professional and academic achievements. That same year, she began her journey in the immigration field working alongside an immigration consultant—an experience that ignited her passion for this profession and for providing human-centered support to those facing life-changing decisions.
In 2008, Linda joined the renowned Michael Golden Law Corporation, a firm with over 35 years of experience in Vancouver, BC. She worked there for several years as a paralegal manager in the immigration department under the direct supervision of lawyer Michael Golden, and later with lawyer Max Wolpert. During this time, she gained extensive experience handling refugee cases, appeals before the Immigration Appeal Division (IAD), humanitarian and compassionate (H&C) applications, and motions to reopen. She participated in the defense of hundreds of individuals facing deportation orders—many of whom are now permanent residents or Canadian citizens.
In 2012, Linda strengthened her academic profile by graduating with honors from the Immigration: Laws, Policies, and Procedures Certificate Program at the University of British Columbia (UBC)—one of the world’s top 30 universities. This education allowed her to combine her practical experience with a solid understanding of Canadian immigration law.
In 2015, she obtained her official license as a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant with the then Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC) (now CICC), under license number R510397, granting her the legal authority to represent clients before IRCC, CBSA, and the IRB.
That same year, Linda founded LSF Immigration Consulting Inc., with the mission of building an ethical, professional, and human-centered firm—one that provides trustworthy immigration guidance to clients worldwide. Since then, she has successfully assisted hundreds of clients in complex processes such as: refugee claims, humanitarian and compassionate (H&C) applications, family sponsorships, study and work permits, Express Entry, Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs), inadmissibility and ARC requests, as well as appeals before the IRB.
Linda is also an entrepreneur, educator, and mother. Her professional approach is grounded in values of integrity, clarity, empathy, and technical excellence. She is currently pursuing a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Canadian Law to further expand her legal expertise and impact within the Canadian legal system.
She is fluent in both Spanish and English and has actively collaborated with immigrant communities across Canada and Latin America. Her personalized and compassionate approach has earned her the trust of clients from more than 20 different nationalities.
“Immigration is not just a legal process—it’s a deeply human journey filled with dreams, fears, and difficult decisions. My role is to guide each person with clarity, honesty, and professional commitment, as if they were my own family.”
